Girlguiding ICANDO

Designed especially for guiding groups, our ICANDO London Challenge is a chance to see some of London's most famous landmarks
  • 3 hour activity

Designed especially for guiding groups, our ICANDO London Challenge is a chance to see some of London’s most famous landmarks and discover more about the city’s amazing history and culture.

Try this interactive walk where you can make your own story about London, while having a great time with your friends. You’ll also earn a special London Challenge badge.

The Challenge is self-guided and you can do it in your own time. You don’t have to stay in ICANDO. Just book and you can pick up your ICANDO Challenge pack at Girlguiding Headquarters.

The circular walk will be around some of the key sights near Girlguiding Headquarters including Buckingham Palace, Green Park, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Parliament Square and Westminster Abbey.

We recommend at least 3.5 hours to complete walk which is completely accessible by wheelchair (although some of these areas will be crowded due to being tourist areas). You are not restricted to the timings and can stop off and do other things on route if you need/want to.

All participants will get their own pack for £4.75 consisting of a workbook, a pencil and an exclusive ICANDO London Challenge badge. We can post this to you (for an additional charge) if you order in advance of your trip.

The Risk Assessment for this activity can be found here.
