You’re invited to our special ‘astronaut training’, where you can take part in a range of activities to get you prepared for space.
Our space programme:
- Kit check – investigate a space suit and design your own
- Space training – Can you take on the astronaut agility challenge?
- Diet in space – try space food and learn how it works
- Space knowledge – look up, and have a go at our indoor stargazing

- Sunday 5 October 2025, 2pm – 5pm (half day event)
- Location: ICANDO Activity Centre, 17-19 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 0PT – see how to find us.
- One leader per section ratio goes free, additional leaders charged at the standard rate
- Uniform to be worn
- You will need to ensure you have completed the required Girlguiding forms for this event e.g. information and consent form – find out more
- Shop visit not included in the timetable, but there will be time to visit before or after the event.
